Chosen Font for Titles
We chose this font for out opening sequence as it relates to the Thriller genre, it does this as the newspaper style relates to the headline and crime advertisements put into the newspapers. This relates to the genre as it links with the storyline where something bad happens and is trying to be solved as the interrogator questions a witness about what happened.

Survey results and analysis
We gathered results from a survey we created to decide on different aspects for our opening sequence.
These results tell us that the majority of people want to see female characters under the age of 25, rather than females over 25, and males under or over 25.

From these results we can tell that audiences would prefer to see knives as props in the opening sequence, the other responses were police cars and tape, which are commonly used in crime thrillers.

The sub genre which the audience want to see the most is the genre of horror, this links to the prop that is most wanted to be seen which is the knife, action is the second most popular, this could also link to the previous set of results in the previous question as the second choice was also guns, which are most commonly presented in action films.

The settings that audiences would most like to see from the results is a busy city, this could be perhaps that more crime happens in the city, or perhaps crime could be quite relatable for the audience.
In conclusion people who answered the survey said that they want characters that are around a teenagers age, perhaps it could make the audience relatable to the characters. As well as this the results show that people would want to see a crime that involves a knife, which could create a more tense atmosphere and also a sinister effect, this also links to the sub genre question, as most people wanted to see the horror sub genre, a knife reflects this quite well as it gives effects of a sinister horrid death, which a horror tries to communicate to the audience trying to scare them.
